It’s been a while... years in fact. But lately I’ve been working on more creative projects, including creating more art. Deviantart is such a great place to display the things I work on, I couldn’t stay away any longer.

It's been quite a while since I've updated here. School has been keeping me away from my art supplies as of late, but I've been trying to find time to get some drawing in, even if it's only a half hour of work at a time. My current project (besides my long to-do list of ACEOs) is a pastel piece on black paper. I'm making it an outer space piece, and so far I love the freedom that this drawing has given me. I hope to post it up here when it's completed.

Out of the many entries submitted for the contest, her piece really stood out among the rest. With a strikingly detailed background and overall complete concept, it's no surprise why this artwork placed first. Sing is a character that I definitely wished I knew more about.

So I've been back as much as possible, but with summer came a big opportunity for me. I'm currently traveling across the US with a drum corps. Not many people know what this is, and it's difficult to explain, but all I will say is that so far it has been a blast. Although it is time consuming and I am away from the internet more than I was planning on being, I could not wish to be doing anything else with my time. I am traveling in a small tour bus with 52 other musicians. Our corps is called 7th Regiment, and we rehears out of New London, Connecticut. All together, there are about 90 of us performing in football stadi
